I-01: Tunisian company identifier

Tunisian companies must use their tax registration number as the main identifier.
Previously: 13 characters only. Now: 8 or 13 characters accepted.
Example: 1234567LAM000. This identifier allows the tax authority to automatically associate the invoice with the registered company.

I-02: Tunisian individual identifier (national ID)

For individuals not registered for tax (freelancers, private individuals), the identifier is the national ID card number. Example: 01234567.

I-03: Foreign resident identifier

Foreign nationals resident in Tunisia use their residence permit number. Example: 123456789.

I-04: Foreign company identifier

Foreign companies not registered in Tunisia must use their original tax or business identifier. Example: FR12345678901.
