E-Tafakna, the LegalTech platform for drafting, negotiating and signing contracts online, has signed a Delegated Entity and Integration Entity agreement with TunTrust, the National Agency for Electronic Certification. TunTrust is Tunisia's root certification authority.
In practice, E-Tafakna builds electronic signature on TunTrust certificates. It can also act as its clients' point of contact for certificate requests, under the procedures approved by TunTrust.

Good to know
Documents the law requires in authentic form, for example before a notary, cannot be signed electronically. The general framework remains Law No. 2000-83 of 9 August 2000 on electronic exchanges and commerce.
