Can a contract be terminated without cause?

What notice period should a services contract include?

One to three months is common for recurring services. The longer the relationship and the greater the dependence, the longer the notice should be to avoid the termination being found abrupt.

Is compensation payable on termination for convenience?

Only if the contract provides for it or the termination is wrongful, for example without sufficient notice. In all cases, services already performed remain payable.

During the notice period, the parties continue to perform their obligations as normal. 3.
