An agreement between two parties, often called a memorandum of agreement, records in writing the mutual commitments of two people or businesses when no specific contract type fits the deal. It is used for one-off partnerships, amicable settlements, arrangements between a company and an individual, or to formalise the outcome of a negotiation.
